Addressing climate change today—for a better tomorrow

Climate change is the existential threat of our time. It also represents an unparalleled opportunity. Every facet of society is dependent on energy in some form and that energy must be clean and sustainable to address climate change today for a better tomorrow.

Copia Power is an energy transition company committed to developing large-scale infrastructure assets in the U.S. to accelerate decarbonization in all areas of our economy.

“We are in the midst of the largest energy transition in human history—the opportunity set is enormous and that’s incredibly exciting for Copia as we focus on rapid investment and innovation in energy transition infrastructure.”

— David Gluck, Copia Board Member, and Principal, Infrastructure and Renewables, Carlyle

An unprecedented problem and opportunity set

To limit the most harmful impacts to our planet it is vitally important that we act now and at scale, to curb total cumulative emissions. This will require massive emissions reductions across transportation, buildings, industrial, and power sectors if we are to achieve the net-zero targets set by various states and companies in the U.S.  The problem and opportunity set created by these targets are unprecedented in scale and require rapid investment and innovation in energy transition infrastructure.

Our focus: Large-scale infrastructure assets — collocated on very large campuses

Founded by a proven team with strong operational and execution capabilities, Copia Power will focus on developing, owning, and operating large-scale infrastructure assets in the U.S. on very large campuses. These campuses will include investments in solar, wind, storage and transmission assets as well as large data centers.
